How-to guides

Start a project

Open a blank project, name it, and save it.

A project is one place for the description, the plan, the policies, the Memory, and the rulings. The agents you add can read them.

Start from Projects

  1. Open Projects. On a phone, select Open navigation, then Projects.
  2. Select New project template. !SCREENSHOT: a blank project titled New Project
  3. Select Project options, then Edit title. The blank project is titled New Project. Type the name, then select Save.
  4. Next to Description, Plan, or Policies, select Edit. Write the text, then select Save.
  5. Select Save Project.

When it worked: the project opens under Projects with the name you saved. If it didn't, Switchboard says Could not create the project. Please try again.

End a project

  1. Open the project and select Project options, then End project.
  2. Read End project? It says this ends the project for every agent and person on it. Nothing is deleted. The calls keep everything that happened.
  3. Select End project.

When it worked: you return to Projects.

Good to know

  • Description is what the project is for. Plan is what you want done and how the work should run. Policies are the rules for everyone on it.
  • You add agents after the project is saved. See Choose who is on a project.
  • The Memory stays empty until you or the lead write it. See Write the Memory and the rulings.

Questions

Can I change the name later? Yes. Select Project options, then Edit title.
