This policy covers the Haven application for macOS ("Haven"). Our website’s general privacy practices are described below.
The short version
Haven runs on your device. Your conversations, files, personal knowledge, and settings are processed and stored locally on your Mac. They belong to you. Anywhere Intelligence does not receive, collect, store, sell, or share them. Haven works without an account and without a cloud.
Data Haven processes
Everything you type or share with Haven — conversations, documents and folders you grant access to, and information Haven remembers at your request — is processed on your device and stored on your device. You can view, edit, and delete this information at any time from within Haven, or remove it entirely by deleting the app and its data.
Google user data
If you choose to connect your Google account, Haven accesses only the Google services and permissions you approve — such as Google Calendar (to read and manage events you ask about), Google Drive (to work with files), and Gmail (to compose or organize email at your request). Haven uses this data solely to provide the features you actively request. Specifically:
- Google user data is processed locally on your Mac and is stored only on your Mac.
- It is never transmitted to, or stored on, Anywhere Intelligence servers.
- It is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party.
- It is never used for advertising.
- It is never used to train AI or machine-learning models.
- No human at Anywhere Intelligence reads it. (Because it never leaves your device, we could not read it if we wanted to.)
You can revoke Haven’s access at any time — in Haven’s settings, or from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access immediately prevents further access; locally stored copies remain on your device under your control and can be deleted in Haven. Your use of Google services themselves is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Limited Use disclosure
Haven’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Microsoft and other connected services
The same principles apply to any service you connect to Haven (such as a Microsoft account): data is accessed only with your consent, used only to provide features you request, processed and stored locally on your device, and never sold, shared, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
What we do receive
Nothing from inside the app. If you download Haven from our website or join our mailing list, the website data practices described here apply (for example, an email address you give us). Haven itself sends no telemetry, analytics, or usage data to Anywhere Intelligence.
We collect the minimum information needed to operate our community mailing list and communicate about Haven and Anywhere Intelligence:
- Name and email address when you join our community list
- Basic site analytics (page views, referral source) — no individually identifying data
We use your information solely to send product updates and announcements. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use a transactional email provider for our mailing list, and standard hosting infrastructure. These providers process your data only as necessary to deliver their services.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@anywhereintelligence.ai. We will respond within 30 days. If you joined our community list and no longer wish to receive emails, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Cost and terms
Haven for Mac is a free software download. There are no purchases through the app, so no billing, shipping, warranty, or refund terms apply to it. Use of the software is subject to our Terms of Service.
